Time for a thread reboot methinks.
This thread: basically a summary of the discussions going on around TZ (notably the BR character discussion thread), plus a comparison of tier lists from different places with strong comp (notably Korea, Japan, and US), and overall tournament results and opinions from reputable players all round.
The difference between the BR Character discussion thread and this is that the BR Char Discussion thread is a more in-depth discussion for each character's strengths, while this is just going to serve as a quick "what's going on so far" summary for those who haven't been able to keep up with the discussions.
Anyhow, based on the last 2 weeks of discussions, tier lists, interviews, etc. this is what I (taking responsibility for any possible bad blood) seem to be gathering from all the discussions and whatnot:

B+ = Lei, Dragunov, Marduk, Jin, Asuka, Ganryu,
B = Hwo, Ling, Wang
B- = Yoshimitsu. Raven, Bears
C+ = Mokujin. Zafina
